Climatology available

The datasets have been processed to produce climatology available for the community.

About 50 different runs have been produced using the processing system for 2010, these are being used to inform the uncertainty analysis.

10 year runs (1999-2009) have also been generated.

 Example of daily mean flux

These data are available at global regular grid  1° x 1° in NetCDF 3.0, CF 1.6.

The output data are :
  • Uncertainty information
  • Attribute and quality indicator layers (including surface biology from OC CCI, diurnal warming etc).
  • Data at different depths (e.g. interfacial and mass boundary layer CO2 concentrations)
  • Quantities: SSTskin, SSTfnd, salinity, whitecap coverage, solubility, fugacity, ktotal, krain +..)

Example of process indicator layers :
 persistent SST fronts (GHRSST)

surface Chl-a (ESA CCI)

 low winds areas

Example of climatology maps for 2010 :
 Monthly mean flux for 2010

All of this will be presented at the workshop.
